Hmm…up until the end of the episode, I was a little underwhelmed with this episode. I sort of feel as if nothing really happened up until that last moment. So, you’ll have to excuse me if this blog seems a bit brief. I’ll make the best of what they gave me to go on, but that wasn’t all that much!

The episode started off with Eddie telling us that he’s a sitting duck and that he’s all but gone already. So, Survivor common sense would say that he’s not exactly the sitting duck he tells us he is. Perhaps a big move is on its way. Although, at this point in the game, all moves are “big,” seeing as how there are only 6 people left, and 4 days left until the game is over. Tensions are high, paranoia is undeniable, and trust is at an all-time low. And so begins the time of the year where we truly just want the season to end! I know I’ve said that this season has been surprisingly good (which it has), but it’s still Survivor – still 5 episodes too long, 5 twists too many, and 5,000 pointless ITMs deep, to the point where you’re just tired of the same ol’, same ol’ and really just want everyone gone because you’re favorite was voted out 2-3 weeks ago! Maybe I’m just Survivor burnt out. I guess I should come out and admit it that at some point this past year (or two years ago), I realized that I’m starting to hate reality television. “What a night!” is how we start off the episode. And, what a night it was, that last tribal council. Malcolm is hopeful that sending Phillip packing will fracture the SRS alliance and bring some of the remaining six over to “the dark side.” Personally, I think it should fracture the alliance, because they were all so hellbent on getting rid of Phillip anyway, but his departure may be a force in bringing them closer together, who knows! What we do know is that Malcolm and Reddie need to not be excited for too long and get to working those phones, to gain some votes, otherwise one of them will most likely be walking down that same path Phillip just walked down…
