This past week has been a bit of a whirlwind for me. As many of you who follow me on Facebook know, March Madness is an obsession of mine. It’s slightly better than Christmas, minus the part where I get presents from people. However, life got the way of many of my laid-out plans. A member of my wife’s family passed away. She was her Godmother. She died much too young, leaving behind a husband and three young children. I never like starting my blogs off this way, and contemplated not writing anything, but someone that close to my wife deserves a moment of acknowledgment, even if it’s in the beginning of some silly blog her Goddaughter’s husband writes. To Nadine, I give you these laughs I try to provide in the following paragraphs. You meant so much to my wife growing up. It’s the least I could do.
