Due to popular request, no more politics!

And no, that didn’t come from a reader, or RealitySteve, or my family. I just don’t wanna talk about it anymore. There’s a GOP debate tonight and from what little I saw on Twitter, I probably won’t like I’m gonna see, so let’s just skip that topic altogether. And with Dr. Ben now leading Trump! Oh, just forget it…

Many thanks to Grandpa Joe (Biden) for saving his big announcement for Survivor Wednesday. Couldn’t he have waited a day, or do it on Tuesday? Or actually ran for President! Oh well, we’ll just have to let Hillary do all those creepy hugs, or Bernie, or…any of the Republican candidates. It’s like Cocoon meets with those creeps. So gross…

And I guess that means we’re stuck with Hillary vs. the Republican machine, since none of the Democratic candidates (except Bernie) look to be able to do ANYTHING against Mrs. Clinton. I guess the Dems are putting all their eggs in one basket (pun intended) and shooting for the first female president. I’m undecided at this point (I’m an Independent, for the record) but the one thing I know for sure is I don’t like to talk politics… No siree, Bob…

Sports! Politics! Reality TV! Which one do we watch tonight?

Methinks there’s only one choice…but the Dodgers played yesterday (and won!) so I guess we’re stuck with Reality TV tonight… And what a coincidence, it’s White Rice Wednesday! Let’s break out our chopsticks, pour some soy sauce over our head, and watch the “greatest cast ever assembled” play for a million dollars. By the way, has Probst even uttered that phrase this season? I don’t think so, but let’s keep our fingers crossed the drama keeps building, the stakes keep increasing, and less clothing gets worn.

And if you asked me to choose between watching another episode of Survivor or a Dodger playoff game (thank god they play tomorrow!) I’d have to pick Survivor. Because it’s still the greatest reality competition/social experiment on television, and it’s only getting better…and true, there’s such a thing as DVR.

So let’s crack open this coconut! (Please Jeff, reply to my Tweet about making that a catchphrase…)
