We’re getting into the thick of the season as episode 7 rolls around. With the final merge looming, the pressure is on to either make the merge or solidify a position to contend for final Tribal. We left off last week with Kat getting blindsided and the “power couples,” and this week we were spoon fed 2 scenarios for tonight’s episode:
1. Kat is so distraught at getting voted off she’s wondering if Hayden still wants to date her.
2. The Aras-Vytas team is the most powerful alliance in the game and it may be time to get rid of one.
The whole “Kat is emotional” thing seems a bit ridiculous to me. Would she SERIOUSLY be thinking that her boyfriend would dump her because she got played in a game? If THAT’S her impression of how Hayden views their relationship, then what the hell is she doing in one with him? Not that I know what he’s like, but is that the kind of person Kat chooses to date? Chances are yes, but the bigger question – raised in the spots we saw this week from CBS – is whether Hayden actually trades places with Kat at Redemption and saves her. Without having watched the episode, I’m guessing his Big Brother survival tactics will kick in and he’ll tell her that she’ll be fine and he’s staying where he is. But…if she loses, he’ll have a lot of ‘splainin’ to do, Lucy…!
And…if she’s THAT emotional in the Redemption Arena, no guy with a heart would let his girl/friend/wife, etc. do the challenge in that state. Let’s see what happens when we get there, can’t wait…
The cracks in Aras ’ armor were shown last week, so chances are he’s on the chopping block tonight. In the spots I saw, Tyson is still on the warpath against Aras and Vytas, and with the fervor that Tyson is arguing for their heads, it may be sooner than later.
I also saw in the CBS episode preview that Laura B. alerts Vytas that “he’s next” so I hope CBS didn’t reveal too much again and let us in on who’s going to Tribal. Can I just get one episode without something being spoiled?! What happened to “teasing” the episodes and not revealing too much…? I might as well go to the CBS Survivor Facebook page and read the comments by the idiots on the East Coast who just can’t seem to not post after watching…
“OMG, I can’t believe _____ went home tonight…”
I mean, seriously? Do you really have to put a comment on Facebook about who went home immediately after watching? And is your life so meaningless that you have to post a comment on Facebook to show you have an opinion? And can you tell I accidentally read that page last week and knew Brad was going home before I watched it…?
Sorry, got carried away… To the episode!
John missed the perfect comeback line when Kat talked about Hayden breaking up for not making merge. He should have said, “well I’m divorcing Candice for not even making it onto the island so….” Would have been amazing! Lol!
